Project Description

This project aims to create a low-threshold, open-air art gallery and public area with a distinct design that draws the attention and footsteps of passersby, while maintaining the identity of the existing gallery in Gwanhun-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It proposes a space that is easily accessible from Insa-dong street, with the goal of increasing the physical and symbolic value of the gallery.

본 프로젝트는 서울특별시 종로구에 건축물을 신축하는 것으로 기존 갤러리의 아이덴티티를 가지면서 인사동 길에서부터 자연스럽게 접근이 가능한 문턱이 낮은 개방형 미술관 겸 휴식처를 제안하고, 행인들의 시선과 걸음을 이끌 수 있는 차별화된 공간을 디자인하여 갤러리의 물리적 상징적 가치의 상승을 목적으로 합니다.
