Project Description
Unprecedented Figure, Uncovering the Past, ‘Continuous Strata of Time’ Seeing the Present and the future.
한 번도 본 적없는 새로운 박물관의 유형, 과거를 통하여 ‘연속된 시간의 켜’ 현재와 미래를 바라보다.
We focused on the symbolism of the land in Songhyeon-dong, located at the center of Seoul’s history and culture.
The layer of time was made part of the exhibition by utilizing the strata of the land that were revealed during the construction process for the construction of the donation hall.
We propose an architectural type that provides a new exhibition experience that has never been seen before in Korea or the world.
While viewing the exhibition, visitors can look back on the history of the land that holds memories of the past.

서울의 역사와 문화의 중심에 위치한 송현동 대지의 상징성에 초점을 두었습니다.
기증관 건립 공사를 위한 건축행위 과정에서 드러나는 땅의 지층을 그대로 살려 시간의 켜를 전시의 일부로 만들고,
국내에서도, 세계에서도 한번도 본 적 없는 새로운 전시 경험을 제공하는 건축 유형을 제안합니다.
관람객들은 전시를 관람하는 내내 과거의 기억을 품고있는 대지의 역사를 되돌아 볼 수 있습니다. (일부발췌)
