This is a construction site for a neighborhood living facility located in Nonhyeon-dong. Reinforced concrete construction, which is responsible for the safety of the building, has been completed successfully.
We will communicate frequently with the site and collaborate together to supervise the construction process in the future faithfully until the end.

Urban Mirage Pop-up Store ( 도심속 신기루같은 팝업스토어 ) 현장 사진
This is a construction site for a popup store located in Daechi-dong. The construction of the steel frame that forms the framework of the building has been completed successfully.
The front part will be composed of a curtain wall and will become an iconic pop-up space.
We will communicate frequently with the site and collaborate together to supervise the construction process in the future faithfully until the end.
대치동에 위치한 팝업스토어 시공현장입니다. 건물의 뼈대가 되어주는 철골 공사가 무사히 끝났습니다.
전면부는 커튼월로 구성될 예정이며 아이코닉한 팝업 건축물이 될 예정입니다.
앞으로 있을 시공과정들도 현장과 자주 소통하고, 함께하며 마지막까지 성실히 마무리하도록 하겠습니다.

Unprecedented Public Figure, Uncovering the Past, 'Continuous Strata of Time' Seeing the Present and the Future.
한 번도 본 적없는 새로운 박물관의 유형, 과거를 통하여 '연속된 시간의 켜' 현재와 미래를 바라보다.
We focused on the symbolism of the land in Songhyeon-dong, located at the center of Seoul's history and culture.
The layer of time was made part of the exhibition by utilizing the strata of the land that were revealed during the construction process for the construction of the donation hall.
We propose an architectural type that provides a new exhibition experience that has never been seen before in Korea or the world.
While viewing the exhibition, visitors can look back on the history of the land that holds memories of the past.

We focused on the lack of identity in the alleys of Nonhyeon-dong from the past to the present. We propose a novel exterior design that can create a new image and value by giving an identity to the back alleys that lack identity through something new, breaking away from the existing architectural style. Currently, most of the buildings in the alleys of Nonhyeon-dong are made of bricks that have been used for a long time, and there is a trend of using long bricks as the main exterior material from the red brick construction of the past. Gangbuk Government Center. Competition Entry 2024. In collaboration with @praud_official @park_gggwang @urbanyards
"Gangbuk Triscape" has three important concepts from urban scale to human scale.
Firstly, the concept of three peaks of Mountain reflects the topographical characteristics of Gangbuk-gu, and secondly, the human scale reflects the scale of the site's vicinity. Lastly, the idea is to expand pedestrian flow through connections with the city.

I participated in the review with three Professors from Seoul National University, Seo Hyun, Professor John Hong and Professor Justin Lim. Additionaly, there were director Wonjae Lee of Haengrim Architecture, and Jeffrey Nesbit. I would like to thank Professor John Hong for inviting me. In today‘s rapidly urbanizing world, the problems of large cities, such as congestion, inequality, and massive energy consumption, remind us of the need for sustainable cities of the tuture. Against this backdrop, ’compact cities‘, the opposite of megacities, are gaining attention as an environmentally friendly and livable urban model. In particular, the concept of the
’15-minute city‘ aims for a city where all essential facilities are located within a 15-minute walk, emphasizing walkable streets, accessibility to everyday services, large parks and open spaces, and the integration of a circular economy.
The exhibition showcases the work of 12 students, divided into four teams, who were given a two-kilometer radius of land on which to design a future Robust Compact city. The land was given as a blank slate, and the students were given creative freedom to realize their own vision of the future city.
도시화가 급속도로 진행되는 현대 사회에서, 대도시의 문제점인 혼 잡, 불평등, 대규모 에너지 소비 등의 문제는 우리에게 지속 가능한 미래 도시의 필요성을 일깨워줍니다. 이러한 배경 속에서 대도시와 는 반대되는 개념인 ’컴팩트 시티‘는 환경 친화적이고 생활 편의성 이 높은 도시 모델로 주목받고 있습니다. 특히, ’15분 도시‘라는 개 념은 모든 생활 필수 시설이 도보 15분 내에 위치해 있는 도시를 지향하며, 걷기 좋은 거리, 일상적인 서비스 접근성, 넓은 공원 및 오픈 스페이스, 순환 경제의 통합 등을 강조합니다.
이번 전시는 12명의 학생들이 4개의 팀으로 나누어, 2km 반경의 대지를 바탕으로 미래의 강소도시를 설계한 결과물을 선보입니다.
주어진 대지는 아무것도 없는 상태였으며, 학생들은 창의적이고 자 유롭게 자신만의 미래 도시 비전을 구현해냈습니다.

Neighborhood Facilities Tower Design in Nonhyeon-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Korea
건물의 안전을 책임지는 기초와 지하층 시공중입니다. 지하를 안전하게 팔 수 있도록 도와주는 흙막이 철골보는 층이 올라가며 조금씩 철근콘크리트로 대체됩니다.
We are currently constructing the foundation and basement, which are responsible for the safety of the building. The soil retaining steel beams help safely excavate the underground and are gradually replaced with reinforced concrete as the floors rise.
좋은 디자인을 구현하려면 좋은 시공이 함께해야하고, 좋은 시공은 안전한 현장관리에서 시작이 됩니다. SSP건축사사무소는 좋은 디자인 구현을 위해 사무실 밖의 현장 또한 꼼꼼하고 안전하게 체크합니다. 현장에서 일하시는 분들 또한 안전할 수 있도록 생명줄과 안전난간 설치, 현장 정리등을 신경쓰고 있습니다.
To achieve good design, quality construction must go hand in hand, and quality construction begins with safe site management. SSP Architecture Office meticulously checks the site to ensure the implementation of good design. We are also attentive to the safety of the workers on site by installing lifelines and safety railings, and maintaining a tidy work environment.
준공이 되는 날까지 무사히 시공 및 감리할 수 있도록 노력하겠습니다.

전라남도 여수시 나진에 위치한 단독주택
여수시 나진리에 자리잡은 단독주택 시공현장입니다. 어느새 모든 골조가 올라가고 창호 및 단열재 공사를 앞두고 있습니다.
This is a single-family home construction site located in Najin-ri, Yeosu. Before we know it, the entire framework has been completed, and we are now preparing for the installation of windows and insulation.
지금은 공사 가림막에 가려진 대부분이 바다를 조망하는 창으로 변경될 예정입니다.
Currently, most of the construction is concealed by protective barriers, but it will soon be transformed into windows offering a view of the sea.
여수 바다가 가득 담긴 일상을 누릴 수 있도록, 마지막까지 성실히 감리하도록 하겠습니다.
We will diligently oversee the project until the end so that residents can enjoy their daily lives filled with the beautiful scenery of Yeosu Bay.

In Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Nonhyeon-ro, which runs through the Eulji Hospital intersection and Hakdong Station to Yeoksam Station, is difficult to find any notable buildings compared to Gangnam-daero, which connects Sinsa Station, Nonhyeon Station, and Gangnam Station.
일반주거지역은 주변 건축물로 햇빛을 받을 수 있는 최소한의 권리를 보장하기위해 사선제한을 적용하게 되어있습니다.아쉽게도 논현로는 20미터 이상의 도로에 해당되지않아 논현로 주변의 건축물들은 사선제한을 받고 있어, 키가 큰 건물이 되지못하고 대부분 저층형의 모습을 띄고 있습니다.
In general residential areas, diagonal plane restrictions are applied to ensure the minimum right to sunlight to surrounding buildings. Unfortunately, Nonhyeon-ro is not considered a road longer than 20 meters, so the buildings around Nonhyeon-ro are subject to diagonal restrictions, so they cannot be tall buildings and most of them are low-rise.
의뢰를 맡겨주신 건축주분께서 매입하신 부지는 강남구에 위치한 다수의 소규모 부지와 마찬가지로 대지면적이 90평이 채 되지않는 정방형의 형태를 띄고 있었습니다.
정방형의 형태이고, 정북방향 사선제한을 받고 있었기에, 키가 큰 건축물을 가지고 싶어하셨고, 저희의 디자인 아이디어는 사선제한과 정사각형 형태에 가까운 제약(Constraints)에서 시작되었습니다. (일부발췌)
The site purchased by the client who commissioned the project was, like many small sites located in Gangnam-gu, square in shape with an area of less than 300 square meters. Because it has a square shape and was subject to diagonal plane restrictions in the direction north,
they wanted to have a tall building, and our design idea began with the diagonal plane restrictions and the constraints of a square shape. (Excerpt)
